Topic file

You can track and record the creation, approval and publication of any detailed description with the Topic file in the Activities module.

Overview

The Topic file can record, manage, and output content in a standard way for any type of display, such as:

  • Descriptions of collection-level sets of objects

  • Exhibition panels

  • Wall labels

  • Captions

  • Blog posts

  • Articles

The Description field is used for the main content of the article or label.

The Topic file is hierarchical, so you can link records to create the structure you need with the Hierarchy window.

You can record subject and association information with the Subject & Association window.

Links to other files

You can link to Object records and other Activity records through the Objects & Activities window.

You can attach documents and photo/audio-visual files documents through the Document References and Photo/Audio-Visual References windows.
