Subject Object field

The Subject Object field records an object that is the subject matter of another object or topic.

Examples

If your institution owns a painting by which is known to be based on a New Guinea mask, the mask would be entered as the Subject Object for the painting.

For Topic records, you may wish to record the objects that are the basis of the content you are generating, such as objects that are the subject of a collection-level description or exhibition label.
