How this field works
-
The statuses available for you to use may depend on the procedural control rules set up in your system. Click Options to see the list of statuses available for a record.
-
You can see a record's status history from the Diary window of Object and Activity records.
-
For stages in an object's deaccessioning process, use the Deaccession Status field in the Object - Deaccession & Disposal window, or use the Deaccession file in the Activities module.
-
Don't use the Procedural Status field for terms such as Outward Long Term Loan, Permanent Storage, or Exhibition Loan as this information does not change the overriding legal status of the object in relation to your collection. Instead, use the Location Reason field in the Object - Location window.
