Risk Management file
You can record the risks and hazards in your collection with the Risk Management file in the Activities module.
Overview
The Risk Management file can record risks and hazards posed to or by objects, or generally in the collection or on site.
You can use the Risk Management file to record the details of an individual risk or hazard incident. For example, a flooding incident in a storage facility. You can include details about:
-
The type and severity of the incident.
-
Where it took place.
-
Who was involved and what they did.
-
Recommendations.
You can also use this activity to manage ongoing risks or hazards. For example, the presence of a hazardous substance, like asbestos or mercury within a collection item.
Links to other files
You can link Risk Management records to the related Object records.
You can also link to other activity files, to describe the outcome of an incident more fully. For example, if items were damaged during a flooding incident, you can link to a Condition Report record, and a Treatment record.
