Current Location field

The Current Location field records the place that an object, document, or photo/audio-visual item is currently located.

How this field works

• The Current Location field connects to the Location file.

• You'll see a read-only view of the Current Location table on the Object - Identification window and the Object - Accessory window.

• You can edit this field on the Object - Location window. To learn more, see Move an object to a location.

This is how to select this field in Reporting.

Object file

Select Current Location.

Document file

• Field (Across the page) reports: Select Location.

• Group (Down the page) reports: Expand Copy Details then select Location.

Photo/Audio-Visual file

• Field (Across the page) reports: Select Location.

• Group (Down the page) reports: Expand Non-Digital Reference then select Location.
