Insurance file

You can record insurance policy details and their coverage with the Insurance file in the Activities module.

Overview

The Insurance file can record the insurance policy details and coverage for an object, a group of objects or general cover such as public liability.

The Insurance file provides a Coverage table which allows for multiple types of cover to be recorded for the same policy, as well as periodic renewals of cover under the same policy.

You can also record details of:

• Policy number

• Insurers

• Agents or brokers

• Insurance type

The Insurance file includes an additional window called Activity Values. This window shows object values from other Activities records that have been linked to the Insurance record. The Activity Values window is read-only.
