Event file

You can record any type of historical or contemporary event with the Event file.

Overview

The Event file can record historical events and events in your institution, including their type, date, and place.

For example, you could use the Event file to record historical information about a battle, and then link the Event record to the related Object records.

You could also record a gallery opening at your institution, attach images of the opening, and link the Event record to any Object records that were involved.

Links to other files

You can link Event records to related Object and Person records. You can attach documents and photo/audio-visual files through the Document References and Photo/Audio-Visual References windows.
