Create a list in List Manager

You can create a list by opening List Manager.

Overview

There are two ways to create a list in List Manager

  • Start with a browse list.

  • Create a list from scratch.

Start with a browse list

  1. With a browse list open, click List on the toolbar.

  2. List Manager will display the list of records.

Create a list from scratch

  1. With no records open, click List on the toolbar.

  2. Select the file. For example, Object.

  3. In List Manager, click in the first row, enter a search term and press Enter. In the Object file, you can enter terms relating to these fields:

    • Accession Number

    • System ID

    • Name/Title

    • Other ID

    • Artist/Maker

  4. Press the Down arrow on your keyboard to add another row, then enter another search term and press Enter.

  5. Repeat step 4 until you have entered all the records for your list.
