Process security
You can control the processes that groups (or specific users) can access with process security.
Types of processes
There are three main types of processes:

Window processes (for example, you can prevent access to the Object - Valuation window from the Navigator)

Menu processes (for example, you can prevent access to the Object - Valuation window from the menu)

Button processes (for example, you can prevent access to Object - Valuation window from the Go To button)
Note: Some processes may not have security in your copy of Vernon CMS. If you'd like to add security for a process, contact us at support@vernonsystems.com.
Inherited rights
A group may not appear to have any process security, but may still have access to a process. This can happen if a subordinate group has been allowed access to that process. Then the higher group will inherit the rights of the group below and can access anything the lower group can.
