Translated From field

The Translated From field is a protected field that automatically displays the language of the Translation term.

Examples

In the Place file, on the Florence record, if you enter Firenze in the Translation field, the system will enter Italian as the language in the Translated From field.

How this field works

Vernon CMS can only display a language in the Translated From field if you have entered a language for the Translation term.

Reporting on this field

This is how to select this field in Reporting.

• Field (Across the page) reports: Select Translated From.

• Group (Down the page) reports: Expand Translation Terms then select Translated From.

You can sort on this field. Select Translated From.
