Latitude (From and To) fields

The Latitude (From and To) fields and the Longitude (From and To) fields are measurements that locate a site within a wider geographical context.

How these fields works

Enter a forward slash (/) and the underscore (_) as a delimiter between the degrees, minutes and seconds. The degrees, minutes and seconds can each be entered as decimals. For example, you can enter 43_32_59S and the system will recognise and display this as 43°32'59" South.

To specify your default directions (North or South), see Change date and geography settings.
