Previous Loans field

The Previous Loans field records the details of any loans that are the basis of the current loan.

Example

For example, a loan that was extended beyond its original dates. When you generate additional loans from an already existing loan, the initial loan record is kept intact and a new record is generated with the details carried over.

How this field works

When you use the Loan Renew tools, this field is automatically updated.

To renew a loan, open the loan record, and go to the Tools menu, then Activities Management Tools, then click Inward Loan Renew or Outward Loan Renew.
