Measurement Precision field

The Measurement Precision field records the precision of the measurement entered in the associated Measurement Reading field.

Reporting on this field

This is how to select this field in Reporting.

Expand one of the Measurement options, then select Precision.

There are several options for reporting on the Measurement group of fields:

  • Measurement (Metric & Imp, Y display only)
    This option will display measurements in the primary AND secondary unit of measure, for all measurements where the 'Display?' checkbox is ticked.

  • Measurement (primary system, Y display only)
    This option will display measurements in the primary unit of measure, for all measurements where the 'Display?' checkbox is ticked.

  • Measurement (secondary system, Y display only)
    This option will display measurements in the secondary unit of measure, for all measurements where the 'Display?' checkbox is ticked.

  • Measurement (Metric & Imp, Y&N display)
    This option will display measurements in the primary AND secondary unit of measure, for all measurements, regardless of whether the 'Display?' checkbox is ticked or not.

  • Measurement (primary system, Y&N display)
    This option will display measurements in the primary unit of measure, for all measurements, regardless of whether the 'Display?' checkbox is ticked or not.

  • Measurement (secondary system, Y&N display)
    This option will display measurements in the secondary unit of measure, for all measurements, regardless of whether the 'Display?' checkbox is ticked or not.

The primary and secondary units of measure are defined in the Measurement Type record.
