Containing Document field

The Containing Document field records a link between the current document and another document.

How this field works

If there are documents listed in the Containing Document field, it indicates that the current document contains one or more smaller documents. For example, a book containing chapters.

To link a document, open the document record that is part of this larger one, then enter the larger document in the In Document field.
