Copy a security group
You can use an existing security group as a template and copy the rights and permissions to another group.
Warning: Copying a group does not copy its users, superior groups, or subordinate groups. This means that inherited rights are not copied over. Copy a group with caution as it cannot be undone.
Before you begin
Before copying a group, make sure both groups exist as their own records. See Create a group.
Steps

Go to Tools > System Maintenance > Security Tool.

Click Copy Group.

In the Security - Copy Group window, in Source Group, select the group you want to copy from.

In Copy Into, select the group you want to copy into.

Click Copy.
