Undo changes in a single record

You can roll back a record to an earlier version with the Audit tool.

Overview

The information in the Rollback window represents the last change made to the record. You can click the Previous button to view previous changes made to the record. You can roll the record back to any of those states.

When you rollback a record, all fields are affected.

The Rollback window shows the following information:

  • User who made the change.

  • Date the change was made.

  • Audit Transaction ID.

  • Field that was changed.

  • Data that was entered or removed.

  • The terms *add* or *del* which indicate whether the data was added to or deleted from the record.

Steps

  1. Open the record you wish to roll back.

  2. Go to the Edit menu and select Rollback Record.

  3. Use the Previous and Next buttons to locate the version of the record you wish to roll back to.

  4. Click OK.
