Search for an absence of data

You can search for an absence of data in a particular field. For example, searching for Object records that have no Name or Acquisition Source.

Steps

1. Click  Advanced on the toolbar to open Advanced Search.

2. In the list of Search Fields, select a field and click Next.

3. In the Search For field, don't enter anything. Leave this field blank and click Next.

4. Click Finish to open your results in a browse list.
