Lux Total Hours field
The Lux Total Hours displays the total amount of lux hours experienced by an object.
How this field works
The total lux hours may be for an object's entire lifetime (see the Lifetime table) or a specific date range (see the Totals table). The total lux hours are calculated from the Lux History and Overrides tables
Lux Hours is the lux reading multiplied by the amount of hours an object has experienced that level of light.
Examples
-
If an object is exposed to 10 lux units for 40 hours a week, the lux hours for that week would be 10 lux units multiplied by 40 hours which equals 400 total lux hours.
-
If the object was in this environment for two weeks, the calculation would be 10 lux units multiplied by 80 hours which equals 800 total lux hours.
