Report on your location hierarchy
You can report on your location hierarchy to get an overview of the existing location terms and their hierarchical structure.
Step 1: Search on the Location file

Starting with no windows open, click Advanced on the toolbar to open Advanced Search.

In the Other field, enter id\location and click OK.

In Advanced Search on Location, in the list of Search Fields, select Next Higher Term and click Next.

In the Search For field, don't enter anything. Leave this field blank and click Next.

Save the search in Portfolio as Top-level locations, then close Advanced Search.
Step 2: Report on the Location file

Starting with no windows open, click Report on the toolbar to open the Reporting too.

In the Other field, enter id\location and click OK.

In the Reporting tool, click Create New Template.

For the Report Type, ensure Listing is selected.

For the Field Orientation, select Field (Across the page).

In the Saved Search field, enter the saved search.

Click Select Fields, then select the Name and Thesaurus List fields and click OK.

Click Sort Report, then select the Name field and click OK.

Click Run Report and click Screen.
