Image derivatives

Vernon CMS can create images of different sizes and quality for use in reporting and Vernon Browser in addition to original images. These are called image derivatives.

Default image derivative sizes

The system has eight default image derivatives.

Need a different size?

You can create an image derivative if the existing ones are not suitable.

For Vernon Browser, you can only use the following six derivatives. If you want a larger size, you should change the dimensions of the existing xlarge derivative up to 2000 pixels. Image derivatives larger than 2000 pixels may incur higher costs due to the disk and machine usage.
