Set a default user view perspective

You can set a default user view perspective for the system to use if there is no term entered or the term entered has no matching perspective.

Steps

  1. Go to Tools menu > System Maintenance > User Defined Parameters > User View Configuration.

  2. Click Advanced on the toolbar to open the Authority Options window, then select the user view and click OK.

  3. Under Perspectives for this View, select the perspective and click Edit Selected.

  4. Tick Default.

  5. Click Add/Update.

  6. Click Save.

Note: If the Default checkbox is not ticked on any of the perspectives, the first perspective you create for a view will be the default.
