Remove a record from public access
Learn how to remove a published record from an application.
Remove an Object record

Open the Object - Administration & Risk Assessment window for the object.

In the Published Collection field, delete the published collection term.

Click
Save. -
Web Messenger will automatically detect that the record should no longer be published and will remove it from your application.
Remove an Object record's image

Open the Photo/Audio-Visual - Identification window for the image.

In the Publication Status field, select No public access and click
Save. -
Open the Object - Identification window for the object and click
Save. -
By saving the Object record, Web Messenger will detect the change to the image's publication status and will remove it from your application.
Quickly delete a record from Vernon Browser
You can quickly remove a record from Vernon Browser if it’s urgent. Make sure you change its publication status in Vernon CMS or it will be published again when any data in the record changes.

In Vernon Browser, go to Import & Delete > Delete > Delete Object.

On the Delete Object page, enter the Object ID and select Find Object.

Check that it’s the right record, then select Delete.
